  1. The Life
    For Taylor's Family
    by Esther M.

Darkness falls as tears drip down,
    All over my face.
Sadness grips me and I fear to drown
    In all my misery.

I ask God “Why?!” and shake my fist
Over the death of one so young.
The tears from my eyes create a mist,
Through which I cannot see clearly.

But then the Word comes and shines
    Throughout all my sadness,
And I can see the Devil’s lies
    Of misery and despair.

For my young friend has not died.
She has merely just gone home.
And will no more feel sadness and cry,
    Or feel cold and alone.

The Grave Robber, Life, has taken her away
    Helped her pass the border.
To the land of eternal day
    From that of everlasting night.

She has gone from the Devil’s hold
    And all this daily strife.
She has broken from this earthly home,
But that’s not Death; It’s Life!

  2. Taylor was joyful and kind and whenever I said "Hi Taylor" she would say back "Hi Taylor" and giggle. I remember when she came and visited me, I had lots of fun with Taylor Feliciano.

  3. This summer Taylor had come up for a week to stay with my Uncle Joel and Aunt Letha. She did this at least once a year. We had a very good time, swimming and I got to stay the night too. It was always exciting when Taylor came up. She was very happy and glad to be wherever she was. She was always singing ( some songs I did not know) and was a bright light unto all the world, smiling and laughing. Taylor loved the lord, and her songs were mostly about Him. I am very thankful that she was my friend.

  4. I remember how sweet Taylor was and how she was always there for all of us. She was the one who inspired me to hold on and do whatever you love. She also taught me to care for all of my hula sisters. I remember how graceful she was when she danced. She looked like an angel flying across the floor when she danced. She wasn’t only my hula sister she was my friend and I miss her so much.
